Step 1:

Let’s start out by creating a new file. I used a 1000 x 600 pixels canvas set at 72dpi, and I filled my background with a white color. Now create a new layer set and name it ‘Wall Design’.

Select the Rectangle Tool and above your screen under the options palette check anti-aliased. Create a new layer and draw a rectangle with 235 x 217px dimensions and #EDEDED color shade.

Step 8:

Select/highlight the ‘Wall Design’ layer set on the layers palette and go to Layer up top > Merge Layer Set, this should turn your layer set into a regular layer. Then make a new layer set called ’3D Wall’ and place the layer inside this new layer set.

Step 9:

Now add a reflection to the wall design, do this by duplicating the wall design layer and flip it vertical through Edit > Transform. Then grab the eraser tool with a large soft brush and erase the bottom half for that fade effect.

Step 10:

Once again duplicate the wall design layer and flip it Horizontal through Edit > Transform. Position it right next to the first wall design then go to Edit > Transform > Perspective, when the points appear on the shape drag the top right point down to get the same perspective as shown below.

Step 11:

Now scale the right wall design through Edit > Transform > Scale, drag one of the transform points on the right to the left until its thin enough to create a 3D effect. Then set the layer’s opacity level to 51%.
