Nature Enviro Text Effect.

Step 1:

Let’s start out by creating a new file. I used a 700×300 pixels canvas set at 72dpi, and I filled my background with a black color. Now insert a nature theme image into your canvas, grab the full version here used in this tutorial.

Step 2:

On your layers palette reate a new layer set and name it ‘Text Effect’. Now select the Horizontal Type Tool and set the font family to Tw Cen MT, regular, 60 pt, strong and black color shade. In a new text layer type your name or the text you want to decorate.

Step 3:

Under Layer Style(Layer > Layer Style) add a Gradient Overlay, Pattern Overlay and Stroke blending options to your black text layer. Then set the layer’s blending mode to Soft Light.

Step 4:

In a new text layer type your name again with black color shade.

Step 5:

Under Layer Style(Layer > Layer Style) add an Outer Glow and Stroke blending options to your second black text layer. Then set the layers blending mode to Lighten.

Step 6:

On your layers palette duplicate the Text Effect layer set then merge it down through Layer > Merge Layer Set. You should get a new layer with the design shown below.

Step 7:

Under Layer Style(Layer > Layer Style) add an Inner Shadow and Satin blending options to your text design layer from step six. Then set the layers blending mode to Lighten.
